An Open and Hybrid Bioinformatics Conference
The Nordic CompBio Week is a free and open hybrid bioinformatics conference. The conference has a format where participating Nordic regions organize in-person conference programmes and where sessions are live-streamed for virtual attendance for free according to a hub-and-spoke model. Our main sponsor is Nordic e-Infrastructure Collaboration (NeIC).

NCB Week 2026: Sweden - Gothenburg
The Swedish Bioinformatics Workshop (SBW) is one of the largest conferences in Sweden within bioinformatics and computational biology.
The event is hosted at Wallenberg Conference Center and welcomes participants from all career stages and sectors.
The programme features:
- Two full days of talks
- Six themed sessions and a dedicated poster session
- Workshops: Data management, Academic Writing, Data Visualisation, Bacterial Genomics
- Networking opportunities with national and international keynote speakers

NCB Week 2026: Finland
The Nordic Computational Biology week in Finland is organized by NCB and University of Eastern Finland.
The event is tailored for Bioinformaticians and Computational Biologists. It is an excellent opportunity for researchers and students working with biological data who are keen on exploring new bioinformatics methods, workflows, or challenges.
