An Open and Hybrid Bioinformatics Conference

The Nordic CompBio Week is a free and open hybrid bioinformatics conference. The conference has a format where participating Nordic regions organize in-person conference programmes and where sessions are live-streamed for virtual attendance for free according to a hub-and-spoke model. Our main sponsor is Nordic e-Infrastructure Collaboration (NeIC).​

The Nordic Computational Biology Conference is organized by NCB, University of Eastern Finland and Elixir Estonia.

The event is tailored for Bioinformaticians and Computational Biologists. It is an excellent opportunity for researchers and students working with biological data who are keen on exploring new bioinformatics methods, workflows, or challenges.

The event is organized by ELIXIR Denmark and sponsored by Novo Nordisk, Biolib and ZS Discovery. It is funded by Danish Data Science Academy (DDSA).

It aims to be a dynamic forum for the bioinformatics community, including data scientists, statisticians, software developers, and wet lab scientists. This conference has been an excellent platform to exchange about the latest research and tools development in Danish bioinformatics. You will have the chance to learn, connect, and stay up-to-date with the most cutting-edge developments in the field.

The conference is planned to start at 12:00 on Monday, October 27 and end at 16:30 on Tuesday, October 28.​
